Who knows. Maybe tomorrow it will all change. But for right now, I'm happy with it. Actually I'm kind of into all these things with accidental brush strokes on them right now, I paint in bed sometimes with my watercolors and I have two sheets of scrap paper taped up on the thing on my bedside table so that I can reach over and clean my brush real quick on the paper. I put it their for convenience's sake, obviously, but also with the secret hope that I would, one day, have cultivated an incidental brush-stroke collection of my own. I suppose the conditions were right, because, lo and behold, interestingly arranged dabs and dashes of paint have congregated in groups around my papers. Now the plan is to take those papers down and put new papers up so that i can frame, hang, wrap things with, or otherwise utilize my newly created and totally effortless bits of art. And continue breeding them on the new blank paper bits. Ossum.
So perhaps I shall have to have a thanksgiving update after we discuss a little bit of things I'm into, art wise. Trends my work is taking. Evolution of style, as they say.
Well, the drawing is pretty much all the same. I've always been able to draw in my own style, which is pretty realistic. A few months ago I decided to learn anime, which is pretty formulaic and now in my repertoire. And I'm currently working on usurping storm's ugly drawing style, which i'll have to scan in for you, because it's truly wonderful. And a challenge, because I always have to work harder at ugly.
Painting-wise things are a whole different story. I'm moving into sort of an animals in the wrong colors but only slightly abstract thing. kind of warhol-esque. in terms of subject matter, color choice, and theme....oh and artistic significance and general skill. Same level on all of those.
