things i like

Sitting here, wondering if you can get high off of that sore throat spray but feeling too sore throaty to reach my arm out about five and a half centimeters and check, I have instead decided to make a list of things that are pleasing to me at this moment in time. I reserve the right to add to, subtract from, amend in any way, and otherwise alter any or all of these statements.

the obama family - raising the bar for black people everywhere. Can I say that? I think I just did.

Confused about Barack's closeness or not with his extended fam. Like, explain to me plz?

On the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize: isn't it a little early to call that one?

Spencer pratt is quoted comparing himself and his other, smaller, slightly bonier but no less annoying half to Barack and Michelle Obama. As in, "We are Barack and Michelle famous, not Kardashians famous." Like, excuse me? Ok, to be fair, Spencer the douchebaggiest guy we know IS technically comparing the level of fame between these three groups of people in his statement, but come on, if you're going to make ludicrous assertions about yourself relative to to other people, at least stop before you give us the better, more reasonable option.

Like, to say you're Michelle and Barack famous, ok that's one thing. A ridiculous and totally laughable thing, but one thing nonetheless. To then clarify that you mean you see yourself not only as comparable to the Obamas in any way, but specifically MORE closely related - in any terms whatsoever - to Michelle and Barack Obama than you are to the Kardashians - who, let's face it, have more in common with Spencer and Heidi Pratt than like anyone they know...the Kardashian step brother is even in their little social circle for crying out loud - well ok we just think this is yet another highlight in spencer (and heidi but mostly spencer) pratt's oblivious and totally out of touch reel of achievements.

don't see your faces on any presidential family t-shirts, speids. (thank god)
